TrueNoord, the specialist regional aircraft lessor has sold a Bombardier CRJ-200 (MSN 7622) to Shree Airlines in Nepal. The aircraft had just finished its lease term with Spanish regional airline, Air Nostrum, and was the last CRJ-200 in TrueNoord’s fleet which is now focused solely on in-production regional jets and turboprops.
Operational for over 20 years, Shree Airlines has recently established its international class domestic flying experience in Nepal with a fleet of highly reliable Bombardier CRJ aircraft. “We are very pleased to pass this excellent regional aircraft on to Shree Airlines to complement their fleet and look forward to a close and continuous cooperation with them” said Carst Lindeboom, Sales Director Asia Pacific for TrueNoord.
He continued, “Although our fleet presence across South East Asia has seen significant growth in the past 12 months, we have recently placed two new Dash 8-400s with Philippine Airlines for example, many leading carriers’ investment programmes throughout the region have been put on hold due to the COVID-19 virus. However, at this time of global crisis, we are really seeing regional aircraft used to the full extent of their capabilities delivering humanitarian aid and bringing people home.”
